Here’s some info about ASDs:
ASDs are characterized by difficulties with social interaction, communication, and a tendency to engage in repetitive behaviors; however, these symptoms range in frequency and severity. Autism and autism spectrum disorders are diagnosed at a rate of 1 in 68 American children, affecting over 3 million people in the United States, and tens of millions worldwide. Recent research has identified a number of autism risk genes and environmental factors influencing early brain development. It is important to remember that these factors, by themselves, do not cause autism.
Ridge Zeller Therapy offers speech-language and occupational therapies which can significantly help individuals with ASD. Ridge Zeller Therapy also offers comprehensive autism evaluations conducted by our autism team which includes a psychologist, speech-language pathologist, and occupational therapist. Email ContactUs@rztherapy.com or telephone Heather at 480-365-9981 for more information about our evaluation or therapy services.
